Numen ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Birth date — used solely to calculate your Life Path number and Sun sign. Used within the app to personalise your experience.
- First and last name (optional) — used only to personalise your greeting inside the app.
- Numbers and notes you log — the numbers you record and any reflections you write are stored so you can view your journal and receive pattern insights.
- Account information — if you create an account, we store an email address or authentication identifier to sync your data across sessions.
Information collected automatically
- Subscription status — if you purchase a subscription, our payment provider (RevenueCat, working with Apple and Google) provides us with your subscription status so we can unlock premium features. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Basic technical data — standard app diagnostic information may be collected to keep the app running reliably.
How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Calculate your Life Path number and personalise your experience
- Store and display your journal entries
- Generate weekly pattern insights from the numbers you log
- Manage your subscription and unlock premium features
- Maintain and improve the app
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, our backend and database provider. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Third-party services
Numen uses these third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- RevenueCat — subscription management
- Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution and payment processing
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data (editable within the app)
- Delete your account and all associated data (see below)
Account & data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: go to the You tab and select Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, journal entries, and all associated data from our systems. Alternatively, email us at hello@numenlabs.io to request deletion.
Children's privacy
Numen is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
